Para Agronomy/Vet Science:
Studies show a need for agricultural reform in rural areas of our region. These studies show that a lack of para agronomy and para medical training is creating problems concerning both agricultural production and hygienic maladies, and training of monitors would be an answer.
While a degree at university to be an engineer in agronomy or veterinary science requires five years of successful study, we will offer training as an assistant agronomist or vet requiring one to three years of training. Engineer agronomists study maladies which attack plants and develop new treatments. Veterinarians do similar work in relation to animals. Trained assistants in each field wil not be equipped for formal research positions, but will be able to teach villagers in charge of agriculture, giving them useful advice about established agricultural methods, treatment of familiar maladies and diseases from domestic animals.
This affordable information will open up new production possibilities for villagers and improve food security and hygiene for the entire region.
